Obamacare - It's Worse Than You Think

The other day a friend of mine was really happy because, thanks to Obamacare, he was able to buy health insurance for only $20 a month.

I did not share in his happiness.

First of all, I'm not certain his deal is going to stand up, because when it comes to Obamacare, very little is as it seems.

Millions of people who think they signed up are in the process of finding out that they really didn't sign up. A lot of them have already discovered this fact, but many others won't find out, most likely, until they go to use their insurance, and have a rather rude awakening.

Even if the rug isn't pulled out from under my friend and he continues to get almost all his insurance subsidized, I know enough about modern medicine to know that the more one goes to the doctor, the more chance doctors have to find some reason to prescribe their highly toxic pills that do great harm to the health of the person. It often sends them into a downward spiral they never pull out of.

In more than nine of ten instances, you are better off not being treated at all, than you are going to a traditional allopathic doctor. If my friend could choose alternative health care practitioners, I'd feel good for him, but we all know that with Obamacare, you don't get to choose your doctor, no matter how many times Obama says otherwise.

For this article though, let's basically forgot the fact that western health care creates more problems than it solves. We'll just turn a blind eye to that for the time being.

In that case, I could say that it's a victory for my friend and a lot of other people who are being subsidized and are now getting health insurance after having none for years, decades or even their entire lives, but that's not the whole story.

The big picture is, a small percentage of people are going to be covered who didn't used to be, but the vast majority of people affected by Obamacare, are being affected negatively. The liability of the so-called Affordable Care Act far outweighs the benefits.

It is going to hasten the coming, utter breakdown of the economy, as well as increase the rate in which millions of people are becoming insolvent, and unable to provide for themselves. In other words, it's horrendous for the economy of the nation as a whole, as well as for the personal economies of the vast majority of the citizens of the United States.

Millions of people, already, have had their insurance policies canceled. In order to be covered, they are often being told they will have to pay a minimum of twice as much as before. Many individuals are reporting the new amount they have to pay is up to five times more than last year.

This monstrosity of a law is another way, perhaps the most severe method used so far, to transfer funds out of the bank accounts of individuals and put them into the accounts of the ruling cabal that is hell bent on gaining control of everything and every person as well as all the nation states that comprise the world.

When the Affordable Care Act was being voted on, there were a number of detractors who actually read the thousands of pages that comprise the bill, and they predicted everything that is coming true. They say that were able to predict that future, simply because it was all right there within the bill.

They told us that it was going to increase the costs in a dramatic fashion and that we would not be able to keep our old policies or even keep our own doctors. They certainly have been proven right already, and Obama has been proven to be an outright liar.

Some people argue that Obama didn't lie. They say he was simply misinformed. Even if that were true, he told us we could trust him and then proved otherwise. But… the reality is, he didn't believe what he was saying in the first place.

There is video of him speaking to law makers before the bill was ever voted upon, when he says that 15 percent of people will not be able to keep their doctors and they will find their policies are canceled.

So, even if you are foolish enough to give him the benefit of the doubt, and say that he mistakenly believed that the amount would be no more than 15 percent, that still makes him a conscious, total liar.

Fifteen percent of insured American is dozens of millions of individuals. He is on record saying, “If you like your doctor, you can keep him. If you like your policy you can keep it,” literally dozens of times. There is not a single recording in any one of those instances when he is talking to the American people, trying to sell this piece of trash, where he says, “Most of you, 85% of you can keep them.”

And, of course, as it turned out, he was totally wrong. Nobody gets to keep their policy and nobody is guaranteed to keep even a single one of their doctors. The dirty secret about this bill is that it was written by the insurance companies; the big insurance companies.

There are provisions in the bill that allow them to force the competition – the smaller insurance companies that were willing to treat the public better and provide better coverage for less money – out of business. Another dirty secret is Obama is giving his crony friends who own big businesses exemptions. They don't have to abide by the law and provide insurance for their employees, like you have to if you are the owner of even a tiny business.

The one saving grace Obama could have pushed to include in the bill that would have created at least something positive, is the public option. It would have allowed the government to provide competition to the insurance companies. If at any point, the public side started offering better rates and coverage, the private insurance companies would be forced to follow suit, but that wasn't on Obama's radar. Don't forget; this was written by big insurance companies, for big insurance companies.

A major disaster that is only just beginning, is the number of businesses that are in the process of not allowing employees to work more than 29 hours a week. That is because, once an employee works 30 hours, the employer is required to provide insurance. This will hurt millions of citizens.

The Republican leadership could easily get on board with the Tea Party and even a growing contingent of democrats and repeal this egregious mistake, but they are not even trying. This, as much as anything to date, proves that all the people are right, who for years have been saying that the two political parties are, in actuality, different wings of the one ruling party that runs politics in the United States.

The Democrats have joined forces with the Republicans to try to stop the liberty movement and the Tea Party. If you couldn't see this before, now it is out in the open, naked as a jaybird for anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear.

The two party system is a farce. We have been duped and played the fool for decades and decades now. Anyone who claims, at this point, to not be able to ascertain the reality of this fact, is simply up against their own cognitive dissonance. They can not see what they don't want to believe, no matter how much evidence is staring them right in the face.

By the way, don't be fooled by the Obamacare website fiasco. That was all a set up. It was meant to fail like it did, so they could string people along and try to pretend that it's not the policy, the bill that is the failure, but that it was simply a website problem.

Even with a semi functioning website where people are able to navigate to different pages, instead of getting the screen frozen, the main function is for people to inform the White House and the IRS that they do not have insurance, so that the IRS can go after them first and foremost.

Millions of people think they signed up for insurance, when in fact, they are finding out, they did not. They will get fined by the IRS, with penalties, and late fees added. Others who did actually sign up, are reporting their bank accounts are being charged two and three times what they were told they would be charged.

The IRS, is becoming larger and more intrusive than ever, thanks to Obamacare, as if it wasn't already a monstrosity and a disaster. It now has more power than ever to wreak havoc on whomever it wants.

Another 'gift' of Obamacare is the loss of privacy of medical records. Everything is being placed in a database that is for all intents and purposes, semi-public. Access is being sold to marketing companies. All kinds of people can now snoop into the private lives of everyone who is part of the system – which, is supposed to be all citizens.

The so-called Obamacare “navigators,” who are supposedly there to help you sign up, are often people with criminal backgrounds, who are given access to your social security number and other data that makes it easy for them to steal your identity. (Thanks for that, Barack.)

It's only a matter of time before they come knocking on your door, asking you to provide proof that you are enrolled, and asking you all kinds of personal questions. If you are smart, you will invite them to get off your property in no uncertain terms.

Please understand that this writer is not coming from a pro Republican perspective. They are easily just as bad. Do not fall into the trap of defending Obama, just because George Bush did much the same things as Obama is doing.

That is how the powers that be rule over us. It's called, divide and conquer. If we are to have any hope of stopping this runaway train, and retaining our liberties, we must see through the nonsense starting now.

It's difficult to say which is more surprising – that Democrats have been so willing to watch Obama become a clone of Bush/Cheney (and even up their game) – or that the Republicans are providing no opposition to Obama, and are even working with him on many projects, like Obamacare, and amnesty for all the millions illegal aliens.

What can be done? We need to get involved locally. On the national level, we need to support libertarians and true Tea Party members. Even if there are aspects to them you don't agree with, we must understand that at this point, they are the only viable alternative. There will be time to disagree later, if that is your concern.

The mainstream Republicans gave Ted Cruz hell for trying to stop Obamacare, right at the time it was becoming apparent that even rank and file Democrats were beginning to have their doubts. Cruz was right, and the Republican leadership is wrong to cave in when the President is vulnerable.

Before I understood the two-wings-of-a-single-party game, I never understood why the Democrats always seemed weak and would cave in to the Republicans. Now I see it's the Republicans turn to play the weakling.

Here's a stark factoid: If we do not support Tea Party “extremists” and hard core libertarians now, then, Obamacare, gun confiscation, Common Core, Agenda 21, Carbon Taxes, Cap & Trade, amnesty for illegal aliens, the militarization of our police, and so much more is going to unleash a nightmare in the next few years that is beyond our ability to comprehend from where we are now.

Obama talks about 2014 being a year of action. This has got to be our year of action of the people. Liberty loving individuals of all party affiliations and no party affiliation must come together at the epoch moment in history. We can not afford to simply hope that things aren't as bad as we think they are. The truth is, they are much worse, and we have to take action.

Whatever we have done in the past, we have to up our game. We must wake up to what is going on and help others to do the same. There is still a small window of opportunity to avert the nightmare.

Get educated. Educate others. Act locally. Write and mail out letters (locally and nationally) while we are still in a period where letter writing can do something. Get involved. Take responsibility. Get prepared. Protect your family. Don't stick you head in the sand as if there's nothing you can do.

Yes, pray… But prayer without action isn't going to help Jack Squat.
