DEVTOME.COM HOSTING COSTS HAVE BEGUN TO EXCEED 115$ MONTHLY. THE ADMINISTRATION IS NO LONGER ABLE TO HANDLE THE COST WITHOUT ASSISTANCE DUE TO THE RISING COST. THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING FOR ALMOST A YEAR, BUT WE HAVE BEEN HANDLING IT FROM OUR OWN POCKETS. HOWEVER, WITH LITERALLY NO DONATIONS FOR THE PAST 2+ YEARS IT HAS DEPLETED THE BUDGET IN SHORT ORDER WITH THE INCREASE IN ACTIVITY ON THE SITE IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. OUR CPU USAGE HAS BECOME TOO HIGH TO REMAIN ON A REASONABLE COSTING PLAN THAT WE COULD MAINTAIN. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT THE DEVTOME PROJECT AND KEEP THE SITE UP/ALIVE PLEASE DONATE (EVEN IF ITS A SATOSHI) TO OUR DEVCOIN 1M4PCuMXvpWX6LHPkBEf3LJ2z1boZv4EQa OR OUR BTC WALLET 16eqEcqfw4zHUh2znvMcmRzGVwCn7CJLxR TO ALLOW US TO AFFORD THE HOSTING.

THE DEVCOIN AND DEVTOME PROJECTS ARE BOTH VERY IMPORTANT TO THE COMMUNITY. PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO ITS FURTHER SUCCESS FOR ANOTHER 5 OR MORE YEARS!

Philadelphia Sixers

The Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Detroit Pistons at home 114-104 on January 10. Josh Smith for the Pistons had a double- double, with 22 points and 13 rebounds. For the Sixers, Thaddius Young also had 22 points but only 4 rebounds and 2 assists. The win for the Pistons broke their losing streak of 6 games. After the first quarter the Sixers were winning 36-28, but then struggled in the next three quarters getting out scored by the Pistons 86-68. The 76ers' record dropped to 12 wins and 24 losses. Many Philadelphians actually want the Sixers to keep losing so they get a high pick in the draft. Before the season everyone was chanting “Winnless for Wiggens” but now it seems more like Winnless for Jabari Parker. Andrew Wiggens has not lived up to his potential at Kanas. He is still doing great, but dosen't really seem like the next Lebron James or Michael Jordan anymore. On the other hand, Jabari Parker has had a great year so far at Duke. In fifteen games so far this college season, he has averaged 19.8 points per game, 1.1 blocks per game, 0.9 steals per game 1.6 assists per game, and 7.6 rebounds per game. In last years draft, the Sixers traded to get Nerlens Noel and drafted Michael Carter-Williams as the 11th pick. Noel is out for the year, so his rookie debut is next year, so they will likely have two star rookies playing next year. This year, Michael Carter-Williams has gotten of to an okay start. He is injury prone and has missed some of this season, but when he is healthy, he is electric. He was one of the first ever rookies to win Eastern Conference Player of the Week on the first week of the season. So far this year he averages 17.7 points per game, 5.7 rebounds per game, and 7.1 assists per game. Some more good news for the 76ers, this year Lebron James and Carmelo Anthony are possible free agents at the end of the year, and they have enough cap room to get one of them. The Philadelphia 76ers are just starting to rebuild, but in the next few seasons, with a new lineup and new head coach Bryce Brown, they will be playoff contenders.
