DEVTOME.COM HOSTING COSTS HAVE BEGUN TO EXCEED 115$ MONTHLY. THE ADMINISTRATION IS NO LONGER ABLE TO HANDLE THE COST WITHOUT ASSISTANCE DUE TO THE RISING COST. THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING FOR ALMOST A YEAR, BUT WE HAVE BEEN HANDLING IT FROM OUR OWN POCKETS. HOWEVER, WITH LITERALLY NO DONATIONS FOR THE PAST 2+ YEARS IT HAS DEPLETED THE BUDGET IN SHORT ORDER WITH THE INCREASE IN ACTIVITY ON THE SITE IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. OUR CPU USAGE HAS BECOME TOO HIGH TO REMAIN ON A REASONABLE COSTING PLAN THAT WE COULD MAINTAIN. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT THE DEVTOME PROJECT AND KEEP THE SITE UP/ALIVE PLEASE DONATE (EVEN IF ITS A SATOSHI) TO OUR DEVCOIN 1M4PCuMXvpWX6LHPkBEf3LJ2z1boZv4EQa OR OUR BTC WALLET 16eqEcqfw4zHUh2znvMcmRzGVwCn7CJLxR TO ALLOW US TO AFFORD THE HOSTING.

THE DEVCOIN AND DEVTOME PROJECTS ARE BOTH VERY IMPORTANT TO THE COMMUNITY. PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO ITS FURTHER SUCCESS FOR ANOTHER 5 OR MORE YEARS!

Perfect Ten – Feeling Like I Had to Be One Almost Ruined My Life

Why does it seem like women feel they need to be a perfect ten in order to find the man in their life or to be accepted in society? There is so much pressure to be perfect these days with all the photo editing done on the women in the magazines and online. Every other day there seems to be a new diet for weight loss that will drop off the excess fat that most women have.

When I was younger it wasn’t so much dropping the weight that I concentrated on, but having my hair and makeup perfect every day. I was so obsessed that I would be late to work and late for visiting with my friends. I felt that my worthiness was measured through how I looked!

It wasn’t until later that I discovered I had wasted way too much time on myself and didn’t concentrate on “who” I was. I obviously was not that considerate to my friends or why would my looks take precedence over their time? I thought at the time that I was a good friend, but when I think back on it maybe I wasn’t that good to them because of this ongoing obsessive behavior. Not only that, the feeling that most of my life was wasted on trying to be a perfect ten. That eventually seemed so foolish after so many years.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Philippians 2:3-4

I would like to go back to change things, but as I have gotten older I have realized that my efforts of trying to look perfect is so unimportant to others. It really does matter “who” you are. I found that most of the men usually would marry women that were not an absolute perfect ten. I realized that the “quality” men loved them for who they were and not what they looked like on the outside as much.

Try to keep this in mind for everyday life…to extend kindness and thoughtfulness toward others just as God instructs us. People will notice and they will be drawn to you and they will value you highly as a good person inside and out. Being a perfect ten is only perfect when you are beautiful inside, because that is what really makes for a more fulfilled life.
