DEVTOME.COM HOSTING COSTS HAVE BEGUN TO EXCEED 115$ MONTHLY. THE ADMINISTRATION IS NO LONGER ABLE TO HANDLE THE COST WITHOUT ASSISTANCE DUE TO THE RISING COST. THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING FOR ALMOST A YEAR, BUT WE HAVE BEEN HANDLING IT FROM OUR OWN POCKETS. HOWEVER, WITH LITERALLY NO DONATIONS FOR THE PAST 2+ YEARS IT HAS DEPLETED THE BUDGET IN SHORT ORDER WITH THE INCREASE IN ACTIVITY ON THE SITE IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. OUR CPU USAGE HAS BECOME TOO HIGH TO REMAIN ON A REASONABLE COSTING PLAN THAT WE COULD MAINTAIN. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT THE DEVTOME PROJECT AND KEEP THE SITE UP/ALIVE PLEASE DONATE (EVEN IF ITS A SATOSHI) TO OUR DEVCOIN 1M4PCuMXvpWX6LHPkBEf3LJ2z1boZv4EQa OR OUR BTC WALLET 16eqEcqfw4zHUh2znvMcmRzGVwCn7CJLxR TO ALLOW US TO AFFORD THE HOSTING.

THE DEVCOIN AND DEVTOME PROJECTS ARE BOTH VERY IMPORTANT TO THE COMMUNITY. PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO ITS FURTHER SUCCESS FOR ANOTHER 5 OR MORE YEARS!

The Construction Of The Perfect Peanut Butter Sandwich

Ingredients

The main parts of what we now call the peanut butter and jelly sandwich (or PBNJ) are: the bread, the peanut butter, and the jelly. The bread must be whole wheat with no crust. The jelly must be grape and smooth. The peanut butter must be smooth as well, and if it has to be Jif, unless you are making fresh peanut butter.

When making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich whole wheat bread is definitely the way to go. White bread is fattening and does not have as much flavor.

Whole wheat bread has much more fiber and nutrients. The crunch and softness that this kind of bread provides is perfect for the peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The brown color compliments the overall look of the sandwich. Another important point is to make sure to de-crust the bread. Nobody likes crust.

The jelly in a PBNJ sandwich must be grape. Strawberry jelly just doesn’t work. The flavor of it and the rest of the sandwich are not compatible. Chunky jelly is never good. The texture of the jelly must be smooth. Smooth jelly makes for a smooth sandwich.

If you are buying peanut butter NEVER get the chunky kind. Get smooth peanut butter, and if you are buying you have to buy Jif. You can also make your own peanut butter if you like. The peanut butter also can’t be too sweet. The jelly should take care of that, and the peanut butter should counter balance.

The Construction

Once you have all the ingredients out separately you can begin construction of the sandwich. The peanut butter and the jelly are both spread on to the bread. When you have completed this step you can put the sandwich together. Don’t forget to cut the sandwich in half before serving.

Be sure to have all the ingredients out on the table in front of you. This is to avoid confusion. Get a large plate that can fit 2 slices of bread on it. Put the plate on the table. Place the 2 slices of the whole wheat bread on the plate. In any order spread the peanut butter on one slice, and spread the jelly on the other slice. To spread on the peanut butter and jelly a knife or a spreader is recommended. Make sure to cover the entire slice of bread.

Now that you have the peanut butter on one slice of bread and jelly on the other you can put the sandwich together. It is vital that you follow these steps in exact order. Leave the slice with jelly be. Pick up the slice with peanut butter, and flip it over, and place it on to the other slice with jelly on it face down. The side without peanut butter should be facing up. This means that the peanut butter and the jelly should be touching. If you had done this the other way around the jelly might have fallen off the bread because it is not as sticky as the peanut butter. You should now have a sandwich with the jelly on the bottom and the peanut butter on top.

Remember to cut the sandwich in half before serving. Start at one corner and then cut across to the opposite corner so that you have 2 somewhat triangular pieces. This allows easier eating. You are supposed to bite into the hypotenuse of the triangle, and you should get a really good bite.
