DEVTOME.COM HOSTING COSTS HAVE BEGUN TO EXCEED 115$ MONTHLY. THE ADMINISTRATION IS NO LONGER ABLE TO HANDLE THE COST WITHOUT ASSISTANCE DUE TO THE RISING COST. THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING FOR ALMOST A YEAR, BUT WE HAVE BEEN HANDLING IT FROM OUR OWN POCKETS. HOWEVER, WITH LITERALLY NO DONATIONS FOR THE PAST 2+ YEARS IT HAS DEPLETED THE BUDGET IN SHORT ORDER WITH THE INCREASE IN ACTIVITY ON THE SITE IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. OUR CPU USAGE HAS BECOME TOO HIGH TO REMAIN ON A REASONABLE COSTING PLAN THAT WE COULD MAINTAIN. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT THE DEVTOME PROJECT AND KEEP THE SITE UP/ALIVE PLEASE DONATE (EVEN IF ITS A SATOSHI) TO OUR DEVCOIN 1M4PCuMXvpWX6LHPkBEf3LJ2z1boZv4EQa OR OUR BTC WALLET 16eqEcqfw4zHUh2znvMcmRzGVwCn7CJLxR TO ALLOW US TO AFFORD THE HOSTING.

THE DEVCOIN AND DEVTOME PROJECTS ARE BOTH VERY IMPORTANT TO THE COMMUNITY. PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO ITS FURTHER SUCCESS FOR ANOTHER 5 OR MORE YEARS!

Mystic Brain Flatulence – Maybe I’ve Said Too Much

I wasn’t sure I even wanted to post this. I try not to get into what I think about religion or spirituality because frankly, I don’t care what religion people have or what they don’t have. I sincerely hope this is a common attitude or will become one. So long as people respect life and liberty, I don’t get too wrapped up in what they believe.

Your freedom of expression is my freedom of expression. United we stand, divided we fall. We hang together or hand separately. If we respect the right of other people to believe what they will or otherwise express what they want to say, it helps protect our right to express ourselves and our beliefs.

I totally support people’s right to say what is on their mind even if I think its racist, superstitious, or otherwise misguided. The beauty of freedom of speech is that, not only can, for example, I say stupid things without fear of reprisal; you can refute the stupid things I say likewise.

I hope this is clear.

On Extra-terrestrial Invasion/Visitation

One of my friends posted an article, presumed to be predictive programming, where the new Pope of the Catholic Church said he thinks baptism should be available to everyone, including space aliens. The conversation seemed to go the Planet X/Nibiru direction involving an invasion or return of actual extra-terrestrials from outer-space. I’m pretty familiar with the poster and the information he is exposed to so I ignored this angle to take the conversation a different direction.

I’m not entirely convinced that the concept of “Archons” or “Demons” is purely an archetypal psychological manifestation, a real extra-dimensional threat, or a combination of the two. This Archonic take on alleged alien presence is what intrigues me. This is the direction I attempted to take the conversation.

Atheists will fall for it. They arrogantly claim they don't believe anything but they'll believe this. You tell them, “no man! You don't understand! They're demons!” And they will be all like, “nah, they're from another planet; just look at them.”

How to explain this to an Atheist? We could try, “they're not extra-terrestrial they're extra-dimentional.” And they'll be all like, “how interesting!” So we say, “They’re energy parasites that feed off negative emotions.” They'll say, “Now you're just being silly!”

“Okay, explain me this Mr. Know-it-all Atheist: if they're so advanced they can travel through interstellar space, why are they wasting time with us? Do we waste our time with termites? We might step on some. Exterminate some. We normally just ignore them. We don't try to [expletive] talk to them! So why are these, supposedly interstellar beings, interested in us?” Atheist would say, “oh, that's because we're so smart. We are a highly intelligent species so that interests them.” At this point I think about mentioning how incredibly not smart we are compared to beings that can travel interstellar distances but I know he's already trapped in circular logic…

On Blaming Jews

This spiel was inspired by the occasional, “it’s all the Jews fault” and “it’s all the Arabs fault” and other such, I believe, rather xenophobic attitudes. In this specific incident, the common, and not entirely baseless, Jewish global domination conspiracy theory was being discussed. I don’t particularly like this way of thinking but I respect people’s right to discuss it openly. Open discussion can foster understanding and unity so should not be suppressed.

What I do: believe the Torah indicates Hebrews were worshiping the Demiurge (Satan really). What I don't do: demonize people because they're too stupid to realize their religion is based on lies. Why? Because they are hordes of people who actually have found that religion helps them, as odd as it may seem.

As for those who see things my way, which is always questioning but never fully dismissing, there are so few of us if you put us all together in one place we would have trouble filling up a school bus. So I can't demonize people for their [silly] religions. I used to point out the BS but it got me nowhere, I include Atheism among stupid religions BTW.

On Satan

Through study, I have found that this concept we know of as “Satan” or “satan” has evolved over time. Somehow this topic finds its way into some of the conversations I have with people on the internet. The following is one particular instance.

From Facebook

Satan or satan is derived from an ancient Hebrew word meaning “adversary or adversity.” In the books of Moses it wasn't personified but in later books it was which is why we capitalize it now.

Kaballah, despite evident attempts to use if for evil, is actually about overcoming your own personal satan every day on a regular basis within to evolve into a better, more ethical being. The ultimate goal is to gain perfection, through self-correction. But what the heck do I know?

Look: predatory types will always attempt to co-opt anything and everything but it doesn't mean everything is evil…

However, I think there is strong case that this existence, what we presently call reality, is illusory so inherently corrupt. I think the ancient Gnostics had a point. They understood the Kaballah but believed the Hebrews worshiped the Demiurge (Archonic creator of this world) which, many of us, would equate with Satan with a capital “S.”

Is this too much information all at once?

Afterword

This has been another edition of “Mystic Brain Flatulence.” Hopefully this was enjoyable and perhaps even a bit informative. Because the nature of this series is about random posts on the internet there is a lack of citations but hopefully this will spark an interest in the topics covered as I believe them to have value. Remember: we are living in the age of communication so ignorance is a choice!
