Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. Martin Luther King is a very important man when it comes to American civil rights. He helped to change this country to what is now. He is the reason blacks are no longer segregated from whites, and America is more equal. Dr. Martin Luther King was born on January 15, 1929. Dr. Martin Luther King is from Atlanta, Georgia. He died April 4, 1968 at age of 38 years old in Memphis, Tennessee U.S. His parents are Martin Luther King, Sr. and Alberta Williams King. Martin Luther King Jr has four children. They go by the name of Yolanda Denise King, Martin Luther King III, Dexter Scott King, and Bernice Albertine King. Martin Luther King Jr has many contributions to in our society. One example is when He was the leader of the entire civil rights movement in the 1960s that called for working out conflicts with kindness and love as opposed to hate and violence. Also because of Martin Luther King Jr, it is no longer legal in the United States to segregate or discriminate based on skin color. Martin Luther King Jr affected my life in a lot. Especially as an African American because now were treated more freely and have more rights. Also there our more equality in our society now because of Martin Luther King. This is how Martin Luther King Jr was a very important man and contributed to our society today. He helped people become more equal and have more rights. Also, there is no more segregation so people are no longer separated by race.
