These series of lectures are very dear to my heart, they 're going to deal with something that's going to help a lot of you get to grasp with what you need to do to get to where you want to be. I’ve had a lot of correspondence from students, especially from my students and from the public in general and the most common question I get is,“ How do I make my dreams, my aspirations and my visions come true, how do I bring into manifestation, into fruition, the things that I strongly desire and hold dear to my heart?”

A lot of people struggle with these kind of things, that's the main reason why I have these lectures, where I discuss my thoughts and the things that have worked for me ;things that I've seen work in the lives of thousands, millions of people, sometimes unconsciously. In this first installation, which I shall call, The Manifestation Series, I'll be delving into a very important tool , a tool that isn't often used in today’s modern society because of how fast paced we've become and how hungry as a society we've become for manifestation and instant gratification.

This tool is called gratitude, again a few people might scoff or turn their noses up in damnation of gratitude, yes, it tends to be an over flogged topic in the circles of a lot of motivational speakers or people who give lectures on issues of this nature.

Remember, Remember The Days Of Old

However in this series of lectures and especially in this particular installation, we shall be looking at gratitude from a very esoteric, brand new angle and there are ten specific things that I will want you to go away today with and make sure that it becomes a part of who you are and a part of how you live and conduct your affairs and your life. Remember, remember the days of old. How poignant you might say, how poetic, but at the end of this lecture, you will be given a seed and you'll be given a gem, which I urge you to protect and to use in your daily affairs, because it will revolutionize your life and answer a lot of hidden questions you might have about the process and the mechanism of manifestation.

Remember Where You Came From

The First pointer is this rule: Remember where you came from'! You must never lose sight of your origins, of your history, of your antecedence, because a man, woman or child who doesn't know or take into consideration their origins cannot get to their destination.

How can a man or woman, move forward in life without a good grounding and understanding of where their journey started. For such a fellow can be deemed as being lost. A lot of people walk through society with a sense of loss and loneliness which manifests as depression in a few because there's no sense of belonging.

We tend to as a society these days try to find our sense of belonging or our origins from what is shown through the media - through the television, through pop stars - and through affiliation with peer groups and what have you. That is how some people find their identity, which is okay if it's the only identity that they can lay hold of. However for you who have a goal, a vision, an ambition, even though the fruition of this ambition might be afar off in the future, what will really guide you and keep your feet steady on the path to success, what will keep you on the straight and narrow as you walk towards the manifestation of your dreams, goals and aspirations is that firm anchor that keeps reminding you where you have been.

Without proper understanding of where you have been, you do not have a proper grasp of where you can get to, so again I say onto you, remember where you came from.

A lot of single women who perhaps have not had a lot of luck in love, send me emails and say,“ How can I find Mr. Right? How do I find Prince charming? I'm getting a bit older now and I would like to settle down one day and get married and have kids like my friends. I'm educated intelligent and sexy; I'm fun to be with; there's absolutely nothing wrong with me. Tell me why can I not find that Mr. Right?”

I hear this kind of lamentation a lot of times. You will be surprised how many times I get emails of this nature. The point really is and I say this to people in similar situations, remember where you came from, and remember where the LORD has brought you from because he who has started a good work in you will perfect it.

If God has been able to bring you from a point where you had little or no education, or social experience, no financial status and brought you to a point in which you say you're educated, in which you say you're beautiful, socially mobile, is the same God not equally able to put a cherry on the top of the pie which is your life and give you that next thing that you hunger for?

Desire is an agent of God. There's absolutely nothing wrong with desire. Desire is the force that intimates you that God-Infinite Love- wants to bring something into manifestation into your life.

Your level of hunger and how you react to desire, will play a very important role in determining whether that desire will manifest with the least resistance or whether you'll get a rough time getting that manifestation through.

But a good trick is to be able to go back in your mind, to times gone by and see in your mind’s eye like a stage, the evolution that you had to go through to get to where you are today. See *Libertie Lecture series 1- The Reality of Time Travel for more information on this process.

Remember where you came from and your heart will feel hope and strength and acknowledgement of the fact that you're able to get to where you want to from here. This is the true esoteric nature of gratitude- the ability to see the good in your life, the ability to have faith in the process of growth in your life, and your ability to understand that the same Principle which took you from where you were, to the place you are today is able to take you to where you want to be tomorrow because your past, your present and your future are one.

''Remember'' Where You Are Going To

You see a lot of times folks get hung-up on the present, they also get hung up on the past and just to make it a hat trick, they often get hung up on the future as well. Do not get hung up on anything. Don't get hung up on the past the present or the future because your true nature and spirit is timeless. There's no future in God, there's no future in Man, there's no present in God, there's no present in Man, there's no past in God, or past in Man and when I say Man, the whole of Humanity is what I mean. What am I saying here? I am saying the past, present and the future all intertwine into a seamless flow of energy, which represents consciousness, which represents who we are, represents our infinite nature as the children of God. Time itself is an illusion however, a self perpetuating one which is useful in what it does in being able to ground us in the physical realm. So like any other tool, we are meant to utilize it for productivity. The tool shouldn't be using you, you should be using the tool, so don't let time use you, don't let time drag you into its illusionary game, however utilize time for your own benefit.

I say onto you again, remember where you're going to! When you have your vision firmly planted in your head, you can say to yourself, this is what I want to be, this is where I want to be, this is what I want to have, it might not be physically manifested now but I know that somewhere in the illusionary fabric of time, exists my desire and I’m walking towards it and I will get what it is I want. Keep the vision focused in your mind, don't be distracted by the vicissitudes of today, don't be distracted by the abrasions of yesterday, keep firm, focus on where it is you want to be, let that be like a northern star to your mind, so that with that firm focus of vision in your head, you're walking straight, you're walking firm , there's a direction to your goal.

Show Gratitude For Where You Have Been

Now this is a bit of a throwback to the first pointer; when you show gratitude for where you've been, you activate a power within your own subconscious and this all ties down to the basic principle of gratitude. A baby can first of all crawl and then learn to walk and then run and with the right training, the right genes, that child could very well be an Olympic champion but it's started with the first crawl. When you're able to remember where you have been, the troubles that the LORD has brought you through, when you're able to go back in your mind’s eye and see how He took you out of brokenness, how he saved her life from that car accident, how he saved you from that nasty relationship, how he put that money in your pocket, just when you needed it the most.

When you can remember, how you were taken out of poverty in the past, how you were taken out of illness in the past and how when you got lost, a way was found for you to be where you are today; when you can remember how you've been raised from obscurity in the past, your faith for what is possible in the future will rise and with your faith the manifestation comes. Gratitude is your ability, again, to think back to where you've been to where you are today and that helps your hope for the future.

Listen To The Still Small Voice

Now this is very important, so I'll urge you to listen carefully. What is the still small voice? A lot of people struggle with this one because they sometimes think the still small voice is that secondary voice in their heads that they often have an argument with; what shoes should I wear to the party today? Should I call her or should I not? Or what should I have for dinner today? Should I go to the gym or should I not? etc., etc. I say to you today, that is NOT the still voice. What that typically is, that voice of argumentation, that secondary voice in one's head is merely egotistic echo, a bit of schizophrenia, if you will. That is not the still small voice that we speak of today. The still small voice for your information is the aspect of intuition within your subconscious mind, within your spirit, that often doesn't speak to you until you're absolutely still. Still in your thinking, still in your opinions, still in your manifestation of your emotions, still in every way, because this voice is a pure voice of intuition in you, it waits until your logical, ravenous, rational mind is quiet and then it speaks to you. Often more than not, the best way to hear the still small voice is to first deliberate in your mind for a while over the problem you're trying to solve. Then let it go completely.

Let your rational mind rave and shout and dissect the problem; let it have a go at it, let it chew at the problem, let it ruminate for as long as is required until tired out, your rational logical mind goes to sleep. It is typically at the point in which the rational intellectual mind exhausted by its attempt to solve a problem goes to sleep that the still small voice speaks.

Any time you have an Eureka moment, or an I should have known that moment, that is the still small voice speaking. It will drop a little command in your heart; a resistant thought, quiet, peaceful, loving and it will say to you, do that. In my experience, the still small voice does not give complicated instructions; it will typically give onto you an almost simplistic instruction on what to do to get what you want.

This Still small voice is an amazing voice to behold because it isn't fussy, it isn't belligerent, it isn't cantankerous, it doesn't try to change your mind or to put something into your head in an abrasive manner. You will recognize The Still small voice for its peaceful approach to communicating it's ideas into your subconscious. It's almost as if the idea just floats in like a feather through a window on a breezy summer evening and it just lands on your lap. The typical reaction to the Still small voice for some people is: okay that's common sense, because indeed the Still small voice rules the common sense.

Now like I said, the fifth rule is Listen to the Still small voice because the Still small voice will constantly guide you towards the fulfilment of the ideal that will most edify you and bring you into a place, and a position of fulfilment.

The Still small voice like I said earlier, will never argue with you in your head and make you feel border-line schizophrenic. The Still small voice is to be respected, it is to be obeyed because it is in obeying the Still small voice that it's influence continues to grow in us until we almost intuitively know what to do in every situation and every step we take is guided with unseen hands of wisdom and there's clarity in the communication of our actions; not only internally but also to the people in our external view and people who are meant to help bring into manifestation our goals and desires.

Keep Faith With The End Game

Now keeping faith with the end game simply means not being discouraged easily, not being of a mind that is flaky, in other words don't be a flake, don't be a floozy, don't be a wimp, grow some backbone. When the going gets tough it is the tough that gets going. When your plans don't seem to be coming into fruition or it appears that you're faltering on every side as you try to achieve your aspirations, don't throw in the towel yet because something is about to happen in your life.

Do not be of the mind that gives up without a fight. However, I say to you with all humility that it is not all fights that you are meant to be embroiled in. It is not every struggle that is meant for you because there are some struggles that you cannot afford to get involved in. They bring destruction to your mind and they take you away from the path that you should go if you'd listen to the Still small voice in the first place. A good example would be the patriarch of Israel called Jacob, who incidentally had his name changed from Jacob to Israel. Now the particular story which comes to mind concerning Jacob from biblical times is when he wrestled a divine stranger in the wilderness. Below is an excerpt from the King James Version (KJV):

Genesis 32:22-32 King James Version (KJV)

  • 22 And he rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two women servants, and his eleven sons, and passed over the ford Jabbok.
  • 23 And he took them, and sent them over the brook, and sent over that he had.
  • 24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
  • 25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
  • 26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
  • 27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
  • 28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
  • 29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
  • 30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
  • 31 And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon his thigh.
  • 32 Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, unto this day: because he touched the hollow of Jacob's thigh in the sinew that shrank.

Jacob found himself in a physical or metaphysical struggle. For hours he wrestled with this foe in the wilderness, whilst unknown to him this individual was not a natural human being. As you'll get to discover as you study scripture and other spiritual material, a lot of the symbolism is not to be taken literally or taken at face value but there is always an esoteric background to the story. This has to be intuitively deciphered for one to get the complete picture.

However in this case Jacob struggled, and he wrestled with this entity from dusk till dawn. When the being found that he could not get rid of Jacob, he turns around and touches Jacob somewhere along his femur or his thigh bone; this becomes dislocated and even at this point Jacob will not give up as he demands from the stranger some token or blessing before he lets him go.

The story culminates with the revelation that this stranger that he had been embroiled with, was actually an angelic creature and Jacob received a blessing for his time and effort. The point, the truths that I would like you to come away with from that story and which ties in to our point in regards to keeping faith with the end game, is that one must consistently keep away from unnecessary battles and instead keep focus on the end vision. There are other gems to be gleaned from the story which we shall discuss in subsequent lectures but to avoid digression we shall stick to the above point.

The vision that you had when you began must be so firmly etched and entrenched in your mind, in your subconscious, in your routine and the way you walk and talk, the way you sing and dress, that somebody sighting you from afar would know exactly what you are about. If for instance your intention is to be the president of the United States, let it show from your walk and your talk, in your association, in what you say and what you will not say, what you wear and what you will not be caught dead in; where you visit and where you worship. Let your vision of your end game be so entrenched in your mind and persona that you reek of it. Do not let people read the wrong impression about you, let what you are about go before you.

I will digress a bit into the topic of relationships which believe it or not is a topic very dear to lots of people, my students inclusive. If you want to have that man as a husband or you want Mr. Right in your life, then you must be Mrs. Right.

Likewise if you want a gentleman, a debonair individual who's got their game going on, and you want that person to be your husband; if you want that vision of a prince charming to sweep you off your feet in marital bliss, then listen. You can't desire Mr. Right and be Mrs. Wrong. You can't expect prince charming to come sweep you off your feet and take you to the land of marital bliss, when you keep effing and blinding your way through life.

When you don't conduct yourself as a lady, when you can't resonate with the vision of your prince charming you will not receive him. The same goes for any other ambition. Keep faith with your end game. Some people call this the Law of attraction, I call it common sense.

Discipline here doesn't necessarily mean a regimented lifestyle by which you go up to a hill, like some hermit and meditate for hours on end. Discipline here doesn't necessarily mean some strict diet of seeds and sushi or any of that stuff. By discipline we tie into the last point, which is keeping faith with your end game. By disciple here we mean that you have to structure your life in the direction you want it to go. “'Spare the rod and spoil the child”'. The child in this regards refers to your vision, your desire or your ambition. Don't spare the rod in regards to your own visions and your aspirations, for your visions, your desires and your dreams are like your children and any good parent must guide the children in the way they should go so that when they grow up they will not depart from it. Is that not scriptural?

What this is saying in effect is if you're looking to excel in an examination for instance, then you must have a regimen of study. If you want to excel in business, then you must have a regimen of enterprise. If you must excel in the arts of love and marriage, then you must have a regimen of patience, love and possibly compromise. Discipline is not a word to be scared of, it's a word that you must embrace and make your lover.

If you want to be wealthy then why would you still be in bed sleeping till one pm in the afternoon. If you want a PHD, then why do you spend all your time reading nonsensical, soft sell magazines? There's nobody who truly wants anything of value in this life, who does not put on the cloak of discipline. Regiment your life in the direction that will be most hospitable to the flourishing of your dreams and your ambitions. Do away with individuals, with friends, or fre-nemies that are apathetic towards your dreams. Do away with habits that don't add value to who you are or to who you want to become. If your left hand will make you sin, cut it off said the Master. The same goes for attitudes of the mind that are no longer beneficial towards what you have become or what you desire to become.

You can't desire to lose weight and be stuffing your face with cheese cake. The discipline therein lies with having an end vision of what size it is you want to become, and having entrenched in your mind your ideal physical appearance while pursuing a regimented lifestyle that is attuned to that vision. Even if this means excluding temporary pleasures like fast food and instead embracing a new habit of healthy eating and exercise. Always keep in your mind the end game. Discipline of thought must be your friend, discipline must be your mantra, discipline must be your tool, your walking stick; it must be your GPS in everything you do. Continually developing a strong mental attitude towards avoiding things that are not helpful towards the achievement of your goals will help accelerate your dreams into reality.

Focus, discipline and keeping your eye on the end game, are all birds of the same feather, albeit with a slight difference. I've purposely separated the topic of focus, so that we can concentrate on it in isolation, simply because I don't want you to mix things up at this point between these different attributes. Focus entails being able to overcome temptation. Temptation is not necessarily in this regards referring to a seductress or some serpent -of course it could be these things- but rather focus as I mean it today is referring to contesting attitudes and visions. When you have two visions, you get di-vision. The kingdom or house divided within itself will not stand. For a lot of people out there, this is the biggest reason for non-achievement. It is absolutely true that visions can overlap, however they must only overlap with your express permission. You should never allow yourself to be tossed to and fro between different ideas and thoughts that don't compliment each other.

Focus is very important, the scripture says: Proverbs 29:18

  • Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

You can substitute the word vision for focus there because you require focus to have vision and vision cannot exist in its pure state without focus. Focus on what step you're currently embarking on. If your ambition requires several different steps, then the logical approach to this would be to take one step after the other.

However there are some individuals and you might be one of them who are talented at multi-tasking. There's absolutely nothing wrong with multi-tasking, in some cases you might be able to do one, two or more tasks at the same time with relatively the same level of efficiency. However there are certain tasks that require complete focus and what this lecture is most interested in is the lack of focus that tries to take you away in a different tangent; you must be very careful and watchful for this. This does not mean being stuck in your ways or being inflexible.

There are many things in today's modern life and society that strive to distract us, be it social network, our peers, the television, radio, or different religious and philosophical ideas. This brings me to an important point which is: Don't dance between philosophical ideas.

If you have a particular philosophical, spiritual or metaphysical principle that you're currently operating on, ensure you have absorbed and exhausted its meaning before you move on. Don't be a spiritual or philosophical prostitute. In the same way don't be vague with your ideals.

Focus my friend, that is what gives the laser its power. Be laser targeted in your approach to life. Focus is absolutely essential in being able to manifest your dreams and your desires. Finish one project before going on to the next. Only multi-task when you're either able to delegate or the tasks link in a structured way so that they can be run in a multi thread fashion. Otherwise don't bite more than you can chew. But if you must do more than one task at a time that are related, my suggestion is do what every great entrepreneur must know how to do- get somebody else to do it for you.

Take a Break

This brings us swiftly to our next point. Number nine. Take breaks. Sometimes you just have to take a break because, hey life can be a handful sometimes. It's very important that we're able to recharge our collective emotional, psychological and spiritual batteries ever so often. A break in this regards could range from a holiday, to perhaps a tea break, but the most important break that one must be able to take is a break from the world; a break from the mental confusion that can so easily take control of our minds. We must be able to take a break from ourselves; if your name is John, take a break from John; if your name is Kate, take a break from Kate. Take a break from the norm, take a break from that schizophrenic voice in your head that tells you what and what not to do; what to wear and not to wear; who to be and not to be and just think of nothing. Because sometimes nothing can be everything.

I said it before and I’m going to say it again, because we can't overstress how important this point really is; take regular breaks especially from yourself. Sit back relax and do nothing for five minutes, think of nothing for five minutes, desire nothing for five minutes and just let nothingness which really is everything-ness sooth and relax your mind, your heart, soul and fill you with that tasteful, joyful, subtle energy that comes from the creator himself.

It is true that through this experience of nothingness we're often able to come to a fuller realization, appreciation and understanding of who we really are and where we really stand in this big old life.

Again I say take breaks, do something fun, that has absolutely nothing to do with your dreams and your desires. I'm not telling you here to come out of character or do something silly or take on another project that digresses away from your goal. I'm simply talking about taking a break every now and again.

Your marriage may need a break, not necessarily a break up. That’s so outstanding I'm going to say it one more time. Your marriage may need a break, not necessarily a break up. Your relationship might need a break and not a break up, because when you don't have a break you might have a break up or even worse a break down. That's good. That's a good one there. Its true.

You might have to take a break from the kids with your spouse and go away somewhere together. Have somebody else take care of the kids for a weekend, take a break from the madness of life, of the world or from business. Recharge your energies, come back revitalized and refreshed.

Comeback with a fresh perspective and new instructions from the still small voice. This is ever so useful when you have ruminated and tried to digest a particular problem or tried to troubleshoot an issue for a long-time and have met a dead end. It might be time for you to give yourself a break, a little bit of space to rejuvenate; comeback and then with that fresh instruction from the divine, you can press ahead and more often than not find out that the problem was a non issue.

Think But Let Your Imagination Guide Your Thinking

Number ten: Think but let your imagination guide your thinking. I'll repeat it again because this is really the icing on the cake; it is the foundation of the other nine points. Think But Let Your Imagination Guide Your Thinking

Lots of really spiritually mindful people struggle between where the influence of logical mind ends and where the intuitive mind begins. Of where their own ideas and opinions begin and where that sits with the Divine Mind.

Some have trouble trying to figure out how to create the balance between listening to God(Divine Self) and listening to their logic(Ego).

You're given your mind by God for a reason which is to be able to think logically, rationally when required but not to be ruled by your logical thinking. It's like having a butler or house keeper; the house keeper absolutely has an important role to play because their job is to make sure the house is in order etc. However the point is you have this individual in your employ who is a member of your staff and what they do is to take care of certain tasks for you. They're under your employment, they answer to you and so likewise should your mind and your logical rational faculties answer to you. Never the other way around.

This is the whole point really, you must be in control of your thinking, you must be in control of your rational mind, your thinking is only a tool that you use to put two and two together when you need to. Let it be guided by your vision, because your imagination really is the source of all inspiration. It really is the source of all life and vitality, because without your imagination your ambitions would be like lifeless statues and rocks without any vitality in them.

Again, like the logical mind you should not lose control of your imagination, you must be in control of your imagination; but don't try to limit your imagination. You see, there's a balance that you must grasp and then you can only master it with use. The imagination is there to set you free and you can live in the imagination. Fly to the distant future in your imagination and solve complex problems there and then return to the present. You can likewise travel into your past in your imagination and sort out personal historic issues.

You can do anything with your imagination, you can go wild with it if you wish, however it is typically more efficient if you manage your imagination in the sense that you use that power for a particular task so that it is not a case of power without control. The imagination can be like a little child who feels it's own omnipotence. But power and omnipotence without a certain form of control is useless. Let your imagination control your thinking, let them work hand in hand so that the controlled Imagination is the head butler while the Thinking mind is like the underling.

The Thinking mind is there to run around and do basic tasks whereas the Controlled Imagination is where the real power is. It must guide the operation of the logical mind. This is the most efficient hierarchical use of these two faculties. Think through your problems but let your imagination help you solve the problem by creating the ideal outcome in the cinema of your mind. Remember when all fails, back off because that is when the little small voice speaks and you can hear.
