DEVTOME.COM HOSTING COSTS HAVE BEGUN TO EXCEED 115$ MONTHLY. THE ADMINISTRATION IS NO LONGER ABLE TO HANDLE THE COST WITHOUT ASSISTANCE DUE TO THE RISING COST. THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING FOR ALMOST A YEAR, BUT WE HAVE BEEN HANDLING IT FROM OUR OWN POCKETS. HOWEVER, WITH LITERALLY NO DONATIONS FOR THE PAST 2+ YEARS IT HAS DEPLETED THE BUDGET IN SHORT ORDER WITH THE INCREASE IN ACTIVITY ON THE SITE IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. OUR CPU USAGE HAS BECOME TOO HIGH TO REMAIN ON A REASONABLE COSTING PLAN THAT WE COULD MAINTAIN. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT THE DEVTOME PROJECT AND KEEP THE SITE UP/ALIVE PLEASE DONATE (EVEN IF ITS A SATOSHI) TO OUR DEVCOIN 1M4PCuMXvpWX6LHPkBEf3LJ2z1boZv4EQa OR OUR BTC WALLET 16eqEcqfw4zHUh2znvMcmRzGVwCn7CJLxR TO ALLOW US TO AFFORD THE HOSTING.

Del Monte Day celebrates teamwork

Over 4,000 employees at the cannery and corporate headquarters in Bugo who jointly observed Del Monte Day celebrated the spirit of teamwork in Del Monte's corporate life.

The celebration marked years of operation of Del Monte's pineapple cannery - the first major manufacturing plant to be established in Cagayan de Oro.

To stress the cannery's 62-year tradition of quality and excellence in manufacturing, the celebration focused on the theme “Total Quality Teamwork”.

Throughout the day, employees vied for awards in a 20-event sportsfest. The sportsfest included track and field events, exhibition games and parlor games.

The day's activities were capped by an evening program which included the awarding of Bugo's Model Employees, the Search for Miss DMPI-Bugo, and a “gran baile.”

Bugo' s 10 Model Employees of the Year received plaques of commendation and cash awards from Del Monte executives, led by Andrew D. Deane, Vice President for Pineapple Operations; David J. Brennan, Vice President for Finance; Isabelo V. Dejos, Cannery Operations Director; Francisco C. Elicafio, Logistics Director; Richard N. Ford, Special Projects Director; and Adrian C. Pabayo, Employee and Community Relations Director.

Deane, who delivered a special message on behalf of Del Monte's President and General Manager George A. Error during the program, said the awards served as a tribute to the outstanding teamwork among Del Monte workers.

Dejos called Del Monte Day a celebration of the excellent teamwork among 4,000 Del Monte workers at the cannery and corporate headquarters. He said: “It is your teamwork that has produced high quality Del Monte products and services.”

During the celebration, 20-year Criste Rocero representing the Cannery Processing group, was chosen Miss DMPI-Bugo. She bested nine other candidates to win the crown. Her court includes Ligaya Formeritera (1st runner-up), Monette Oblea (2nd runner-up) and Peloche Lagua (3rd).
