Del Monte Day celebrates teamwork

Over 4,000 employees at the cannery and corporate headquarters in Bugo who jointly observed Del Monte Day celebrated the spirit of teamwork in Del Monte's corporate life.

To stress the cannery's 62-year tradition of quality and excellence in manufacturing, the celebration focused on the theme “Total Quality Teamwork”.

Throughout the day, employees vied for awards in a 20-event sportsfest. The sportsfest included track and field events, exhibition games and parlor games.

The day's activities were capped by an evening program which included the awarding of Bugo's Model Employees, the Search for Miss DMPI-Bugo, and a “gran baile.”
