DEVTOME.COM HOSTING COSTS HAVE BEGUN TO EXCEED 115$ MONTHLY. THE ADMINISTRATION IS NO LONGER ABLE TO HANDLE THE COST WITHOUT ASSISTANCE DUE TO THE RISING COST. THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING FOR ALMOST A YEAR, BUT WE HAVE BEEN HANDLING IT FROM OUR OWN POCKETS. HOWEVER, WITH LITERALLY NO DONATIONS FOR THE PAST 2+ YEARS IT HAS DEPLETED THE BUDGET IN SHORT ORDER WITH THE INCREASE IN ACTIVITY ON THE SITE IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. OUR CPU USAGE HAS BECOME TOO HIGH TO REMAIN ON A REASONABLE COSTING PLAN THAT WE COULD MAINTAIN. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT THE DEVTOME PROJECT AND KEEP THE SITE UP/ALIVE PLEASE DONATE (EVEN IF ITS A SATOSHI) TO OUR DEVCOIN 1M4PCuMXvpWX6LHPkBEf3LJ2z1boZv4EQa OR OUR BTC WALLET 16eqEcqfw4zHUh2znvMcmRzGVwCn7CJLxR TO ALLOW US TO AFFORD THE HOSTING.

THE DEVCOIN AND DEVTOME PROJECTS ARE BOTH VERY IMPORTANT TO THE COMMUNITY. PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO ITS FURTHER SUCCESS FOR ANOTHER 5 OR MORE YEARS!

Into the Wild

Into the wild is not about a person who goes on an adventure, but it is instead about the feelings most of us go through at some point in our life. Generally we experience these thoughts and emotions in our earlier twenties, when we are old enough to do stuff ourselves, but still young enough to be gullible as to believe that there is something more fulfilling and functional than a 9 to 5 work day, which ends with watching a late night comedy who reviews the news and talks about celebrities.

Christopher McCandless wanted to escape that life style, or any other repetitious lifestyle that so many so often fall into living. He also seemed to think hell is other people, perhaps due to his family life and their issues. So he leaves to have an adventurous life alone in Alaska on the belief that happiness came from new experiences, not people.

He choose to live the polar opposite of the modern life, and in doing so he met others who also were living transient life styles, and he saw how happy they were and that their core values were what he thought they should be, enjoying life. This made significant impact on him since it was in contrast to his family life style, which was built around social and financial ideals, more so than enjoyment. The contrast of these life styles only reinforced his ideas.

Once in Alaska, and on his way to his final destination, he begins to discover that his ideas are not as ideal as he once thought. He learns that nature is unforgiving, unwelcoming and that the great wide open is a lonely and dangerous place. He also learns one of his core beliefs that he has been preaching is incorrect, which is that Happiness is only real when shared.

Into The Wild is a very relevant show to many young people, as they are feeling angst at all of the choices they need to make, and the perhaps dull lifestyle they may end up leading because of these choices, which are deemed as prestigious and the action of successful people. Into the wild, to some degree begs the question what success is, and why it matters. least if they take a minute to think of the bigger and vague message that has doped the whole movie from the begging.

The voice or narrator of the story, made the movie a bit weak. Instead of having the narrator be the thoughts of himself, it was his sister. His sister had very very little understanding of the entire situation, and it was not clear who she even was or why it kept referring back to her. It seemed as though the story was going to eventually take a turn and go off more onto what the sister had done, is doing, and how her life was affected by her brothers choices. Not the case at all, simple ended with him dying after eating some toxic plant.
