This is a stupid idea of mine – mostly because it is entirely based off of a stupid idea called Aquaponics. But I can't stop thinking about it, and now I want to share it.

1. Pond contains fish, crayfish, prawn/fresh water shrimp,etc.. This naturally collects nitrogen via nitrifying bacteria which is removed when plnts are watered and take out the nitrogen using it to grow and produce food. Which is basically the idea of normal aquaponics. But my idea continues… 2. There is a large sheet of “Shticky” silicone that has a light shine on it during the night. It is also a color that naturally attracts insects and other things that get stuck on it, an die. 3. A windmill raises water up from the pond and washes it off each day – this puts Potassium, Calcium, Phosphorous, sulfur, etc into the system. Also oxygen when not washing off silicone sheet, or watering the plants.

4. There is a lot of spanish moss growing on an Alder Tree. The Alder tree produces lots of nitrogen and attracts insects, plus helps with soil stuff because of its large and long lasting root system + mycorhizea. The Spanish moss also attracts insects, but more importantly it captures dust out of the air providing additional minerals like K, Ca,Na,S,P, etc..

As long as there is water – this system would collect more minerals then it uses or needs. This allows you to take food out of the system, without damaging the system in fact, if you don't the system would die out from too many minerals. For it to be stable, however you could only take out as much potassium/other minerals that is collected from dust and insects – which will be a huge amount considering how little potassium is in a single tomato, and how many thousands of insects you'd collect on a nightly basis + the spanish moss dust traps (which would only be free'd up once the spanish moss fell to the ground and rotted)

..And of course, you'd want to grow things like legumes and whatever else share nitrogen with things like Corn, etc.. And shape it based on wind direction, and amount of rain fall..
