DEVTOME.COM HOSTING COSTS HAVE BEGUN TO EXCEED 115$ MONTHLY. THE ADMINISTRATION IS NO LONGER ABLE TO HANDLE THE COST WITHOUT ASSISTANCE DUE TO THE RISING COST. THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING FOR ALMOST A YEAR, BUT WE HAVE BEEN HANDLING IT FROM OUR OWN POCKETS. HOWEVER, WITH LITERALLY NO DONATIONS FOR THE PAST 2+ YEARS IT HAS DEPLETED THE BUDGET IN SHORT ORDER WITH THE INCREASE IN ACTIVITY ON THE SITE IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. OUR CPU USAGE HAS BECOME TOO HIGH TO REMAIN ON A REASONABLE COSTING PLAN THAT WE COULD MAINTAIN. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT THE DEVTOME PROJECT AND KEEP THE SITE UP/ALIVE PLEASE DONATE (EVEN IF ITS A SATOSHI) TO OUR DEVCOIN 1M4PCuMXvpWX6LHPkBEf3LJ2z1boZv4EQa OR OUR BTC WALLET 16eqEcqfw4zHUh2znvMcmRzGVwCn7CJLxR TO ALLOW US TO AFFORD THE HOSTING.

THE DEVCOIN AND DEVTOME PROJECTS ARE BOTH VERY IMPORTANT TO THE COMMUNITY. PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO ITS FURTHER SUCCESS FOR ANOTHER 5 OR MORE YEARS!

How we Plan the Day

Today was one of those days when I had quite a few competing priorities.

On Sunday, we are hosting 90 people for my kid’s birthday party. I had quite a few deliverables at the office today I have more normal routine to keep happy and healthy

Here is what works for me to get it all in order:

1. I dump everything that I have to do onto a piece of paper. That was it is out of my head and ready to be productive out in the universe. I find if I do not do that then the stuff that is bugging me the most just seems to keep popping up.

2. I group items that make sense to be grouped - It may include the stuff that needs to get done the earliest or it may be the things that need to get done around the same time. It does not matter what criteria you use. What matters is that your grouping create an easily manageable list for you.

3. Once I get my list to a place that it is manageable, I begin to start prioritizing the items from 1 until I get to the end of the list.

Then, we EXECUTE

The thinking part of the planning exercise is over. Now it is time to simply put one foot in front of the other and execute the plan of attack.

We start with Item 1 and work on that until it is done. It is OK to take breaks but, for me, I do not allow myself to move onto the next item, until the first item is complete or until it is as far as I can take it in that sitting.

I found that using this approach builds momentum after a short period of time and I can start moving through the list at a much more rapid pace.

Rapid execution can also be called - “In the Zone”

Those are the special moments when you feel like everything that you touch is Gold. It is as if you can do no wrong in those moments.

The truth is that you probably can’t. Maybe we should not take it that far. However, you get the point of what I am saying.

Now that the working day is coming close to an end, I can relax and settle into completing some writing. This is the last sort of work that I do before spending the rest of the day with the family.

Have a blessed day.
