DEVTOME.COM HOSTING COSTS HAVE BEGUN TO EXCEED 115$ MONTHLY. THE ADMINISTRATION IS NO LONGER ABLE TO HANDLE THE COST WITHOUT ASSISTANCE DUE TO THE RISING COST. THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING FOR ALMOST A YEAR, BUT WE HAVE BEEN HANDLING IT FROM OUR OWN POCKETS. HOWEVER, WITH LITERALLY NO DONATIONS FOR THE PAST 2+ YEARS IT HAS DEPLETED THE BUDGET IN SHORT ORDER WITH THE INCREASE IN ACTIVITY ON THE SITE IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. OUR CPU USAGE HAS BECOME TOO HIGH TO REMAIN ON A REASONABLE COSTING PLAN THAT WE COULD MAINTAIN. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT THE DEVTOME PROJECT AND KEEP THE SITE UP/ALIVE PLEASE DONATE (EVEN IF ITS A SATOSHI) TO OUR DEVCOIN 1M4PCuMXvpWX6LHPkBEf3LJ2z1boZv4EQa OR OUR BTC WALLET 16eqEcqfw4zHUh2znvMcmRzGVwCn7CJLxR TO ALLOW US TO AFFORD THE HOSTING.

THE DEVCOIN AND DEVTOME PROJECTS ARE BOTH VERY IMPORTANT TO THE COMMUNITY. PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO ITS FURTHER SUCCESS FOR ANOTHER 5 OR MORE YEARS!

Governments – The slave drivers of our time

They are everywhere – they take your resources and your land and even force you to pay for living on it.

Property

You don't own anything that you may think you own. The government just doesn't take it away from you so that you don't think about it. But let's start thinking about it right now: You own something when you have the power to defend it. When the gov defends it “for you”, it isn't really yours. And even if it was, the gov would also have the power to take it back from you. Pretty disturbing, isn't it?

Working

Lets take this some steps further. Most of the people are “average” workers. But why do they even work? Maybe because it's fun for them, but most people are just working because they need currency. If you don't know why I used the word “currency”, we will get to that later. So the average person works eight hours and comes back home afterwards. This process repeats itself for 28-31 days (depending on how long the current month is) and then they get their salary. This salary is most likely lowered by the income tax. So why the fuck should you pay income tax? The gov already owns your land and everything that's on it, so why would you give it even more? That's a question to you!

The difference between money and currency

Why did I use the word “currency” above and not “money”? Well simply because I didn't mean money. So… where's the difference?

Currency is: Medium of exchange Unit of account Portable Durable Divisible Fungible (Interchangeable)

And money is all of those things plus it's a store of value.

Now let me explain what all this means: Medium of exchange: You can use it to trade. Unit of account: It has different numbers on it. Durable: It can't be easily destroyed by accident. Portable: You can easily carry it around. Divisible: You can make change. Fungible: A euro in my pocket buys the same amount as a euro in your pocket. Store of value: It keeps it's value for a long period of time.

I'm not able to tell you everything about money and currency, so if you have the time or reading that much text is too exhausting for you, you can simply watch this video series to learn everything about money and currency:

Even though these videos are pretty long i would definitely recommend watching every single one. It is totally worth it.

If you don't have time to watch all these videos just now I will tell you what you need to know. Basically your dollar, euro or whatever you are using is worthless. Nothing is backing it. Ever wondered what a dollar or euro really is? The answer is: It's just some numbers printed on a piece of paper. And how much does paper cost…? Exactly.

But how come people think it's worth something when it really is just paper? Because the gov successfully made you think that it has some kind of value. Here's a another question for you: How can anything that is infinite have any value?

What is money then?

Real money has to be what I already wrote a few lines back. Gold and silver are ideal for this job. Both are: Medium of exchange: Can also be used to trade. Unit of account: Different amounts have different value. Durable: Even more than paper. Portable: Can also be easily carried around.. Divisible: You can make change too. Fungible: My gram of pure gold buys the same as your gram of pure gold. Store of value: For over 5000 years now.

Long story short: ONLY Gold and silver are real money.

Slavery in our time

School told you everything you need to be a good slave, not more and not less. They told you to learn for your “future job”, to follow the rules/laws and not to do “bad things”, such as doing drugs.

Why? Well… A good slave works hard, but has low income. A good slave follows the laws so that the gov can do whatever it wants. A good slave may have “freedom of speech” to make it seem that he is free and prevent him form finding out the truth. A good slave doesn't take “hard drugs” so it doesn't obstruct him from working. A good slave may do “lighter” drugs so that he dies a short time after his retirement. A good slave doesn't die before his retirement. A good slave doesn't know that he is one.

The plans of politicians

The goal of every politician is to make his own life better. A gov is built on selfishness. If a gov does anything that helps you, it's only to make you think that they care about you. On the other end it allows them to pass new laws against you without you being “pissed off” at them which could result in a protest. Every action that politicians do and every word they speak is meticulously planned to create exactly the opinions/emotions that is best for them. Example: Barack Obama visited Nelson Mandela (freedom fighter) to make it look like he wants to bring freedom to the people when he really is just another politician that wants to suppress every opinion that isn't his own.

Petitions do nothing

Ever signed a petition to the gov that succeeded? If yes… Well it just succeeded, because the politicians wanted it. They gave you what you wanted and made you happy so you stop protesting and get back to work. You may think that you won, but the gov is the real winner.

The gov's rules

The good drugs and the bad drugs

Have you ever asked yourself why some drugs are legal and others aren't? That's because cigarettes for example don't kill you in a fast way. They do it slowly. And what did I write a few lines back? “A good slave doesn't die before his retirement” Even if you started smoking early you won't die before you are at least near your retirement. But something like heroin kills you way faster and a long time before that. Here are a few examples of “good drugs” (the ones that are legalized): Alcohol – Can be good in small amounts. Doesn't kill you fast when addicted to it. Coffee – Isn't really considered a drug, but can have some bad side effects. Has positive effects. Doesn't kill you in any way.

The Law

The law is a tool that is used by the gov to keep it's slaves down. Pretty much every law has at least one positive effect for the gov. That's why schools tell the kids that breaking the law is a bad thing, which it isn't necessarily.

Democracy is an illusion

Democracy is a greek word and it means “ruled by the people”. But is a “democratic” country really ruled by the people? Of course not “Democratic” countries just elect some kind of president or ruler and give him power (along with other politicians mostly). These people can now do whatever they want, regardless of the opinion of their voters. In some countries this president or ruler isn't even elected by the people, but by other politicians (in Germany for example).

People always complain about non-democratic countries, but they don't get that even their own country isn't really one. Let's recap this, shall we? You don't have any property, the gov can take it away from you whenever it wants. You are forced to work in order to live in your country. Your (hard) work isn't paid in money, but in worthless currency. School tells you how great it is to follow the law and love the government.

Do you see where this is heading? This is not democracy, it's communism. The only difference is that the gov lies more to you. How? Example: The govs made laws and follow them themselves so that you think they're fair. But in the last couple of months it has been apparent that they stop giving a shit about their appearance when it starts to piss them off. I'm talking of course about Bitcoin. Pretty much every bank account that is linked to Bitcoin transactions in any way gets frozen and/or canceled. And I don't really think that Bitcoin is a problem for the banks, but more for govs…

Govs and cryptocurrencies

Govs hate cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, because it they have the ability to replace the fiat currencies. This would take away their power over the financial world which is one of the 3 pillars of power.

The 3 pillars of power

Power doesn't come from nowhere, and here are the 3 pillars of it: 1. Control of the group mind, ideas and beliefs. 2. The control of currency, finance and thereby human activity (through taxation and inflation). 3. The monopoly on violence, and the use of intimidation to extract obedience by fear.

Further explanation can be found in this video: Revolution: An Instruction Manual http://youtu.be/8Zq4f6WYmHU

Another source of power

Knowing your enemy is bad for him. Believing that you know your enemy is bad for you.

What I want to say is: You may think you know your gov or politician, but it doesn't have to be true. That's another tactic of politicians: causing confusion by lying. Politicians lie that often that you don't know when they are telling the truth. Keep that in mind.

Let's get back to knowing your enemy: The gov sees you as it's enemy and treats you as such. A fine example for this is the NSA spying operations which were partly exposed by Edward Snowden. The NSA collects so much information that they have total power over you in case of resistance. But the US isn't the only gov to do so. Every gov does it, the only difference is the scale.

War for money

Politicians don't declare war, because they worry about the people, they just do it for the money. Example: George Bush declared war to Iraq, because of the “oil problem” he had with Saddam Hussein.

How they get away with that? They tell their nation it is necessary, because… Here are the most common excuses: 1. “We need to help the people there, their life is so miserable” 2. “They committed atrocities against our people, we have to take revenge”

And the people believe it, but most of them don't understand… What the excuses really mean: 1. “We want their oil and/or other precious things they have” 2. “We killed a few people and/or did some iniquities there and now they are mad at us”

The problem is civil obedience

How come the govs can do all these things without ever being bothered? How come they go to war for nothing, enslave people, and leave them no rights without anyone saying anything about it? The problem is the brainwashed people who obey their government without condition. The people who put up their gov's flag without even knowing it's history.

”News” companies are just propaganda machines

The news just tell the people things that fit into the gov's world view. Which means: everything eastern is bad, everything western is good for the west, and the exact opposite for the east (where there are exceptions like RT)

Example: When you watch CNN or Fox News, you are likely to see some “terrorist” reports of muslim eastern people, some political US news (where of course the politicians are the good guys), and some crime that happened in the US.

When eastern governments make mistakes, then they are on the news for a long tome, but when it comes to western governments making mistakes, everything is forgotten fast. Another example: The NSA espionage was covered for a shorter period of time than the pro-eu riots in Ukraine.
