  1. Download your package from the Fedora Project wiki
  2. Use
    # yum localinstall [nameOfRepo]

    on the download

or skip downloading altogether and do something like

 rpm -Uvh http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/epel/6/x86_64/epel-release-6-5.noarch.rpm
for your OS rpm

The next time you use yum the repos will update and additional packages will be available
