DEVTOME.COM HOSTING COSTS HAVE BEGUN TO EXCEED 115$ MONTHLY. THE ADMINISTRATION IS NO LONGER ABLE TO HANDLE THE COST WITHOUT ASSISTANCE DUE TO THE RISING COST. THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING FOR ALMOST A YEAR, BUT WE HAVE BEEN HANDLING IT FROM OUR OWN POCKETS. HOWEVER, WITH LITERALLY NO DONATIONS FOR THE PAST 2+ YEARS IT HAS DEPLETED THE BUDGET IN SHORT ORDER WITH THE INCREASE IN ACTIVITY ON THE SITE IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. OUR CPU USAGE HAS BECOME TOO HIGH TO REMAIN ON A REASONABLE COSTING PLAN THAT WE COULD MAINTAIN. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT THE DEVTOME PROJECT AND KEEP THE SITE UP/ALIVE PLEASE DONATE (EVEN IF ITS A SATOSHI) TO OUR DEVCOIN 1M4PCuMXvpWX6LHPkBEf3LJ2z1boZv4EQa OR OUR BTC WALLET 16eqEcqfw4zHUh2znvMcmRzGVwCn7CJLxR TO ALLOW US TO AFFORD THE HOSTING.

THE DEVCOIN AND DEVTOME PROJECTS ARE BOTH VERY IMPORTANT TO THE COMMUNITY. PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO ITS FURTHER SUCCESS FOR ANOTHER 5 OR MORE YEARS!

Call Of Duty Review

After many Call of Duty games in the series, came Call of Duty Ghosts. The new installment to the series was not as anticipated as say, Call of Duty Black Ops was, but there was still some excitement. Now that the game has been out for a little over 3 months, it's content has sunk in and people have gotten used to it. Like all new games, it usually takes time for people to adjust and really start to appreciate new gameplay, if they appreciate it at all. After months of the game being out, it hasn't had the BEST ratings, not at all actually. Compared to Call of Duty Black Ops

Two, this game was basically a huge step back in ratings. Many fans of the Call of Duty series fell disappointed, although some players may have enjoyed the changes and adjustments that were made in the new game. The game features as usual, campaign and multiplayer. Instead of adding in the highly loved zombies mode, the creators of Call of Duty Ghosts decided to put a new mode in, Extinction, where you are fighting off aliens. It is a bit obvious that Extinction is not nearly as popular as Zombies mode, and that may have been part of the reason why the game has a two point four out of ten rating on some websites. Many players of the new game complained that the game has really grainy, poorly done graphics. Another big complaint about the game was the setup the developer's of Call of Duty Ghost's chose for online multiplayer. The player gets multiple characters or avatars to play as, and in each of the characters or avatars, there are different sets of classes. Along with the different playable characters, each character has a different rank. It is possible that the player could be level 50 on one character and level 1 on another. Many players did not seem to react well to this change in online multiplayer setup because it was simply too confusing. Compared to the usual setup of online, I would have to agree.

Another major aspect that changed in the new game compared to the previous games that came before it, was the sniping. The snipers in the game now do not take up the whole screen when you are zoomed in through the scope like old games. Instead, the sniper scope still zooms in, but you can see your surroundings. Your surroundings outside of the scope become blurry and hard to see through sometimes, but on the plus side, you can see if someone is around you a lot easier. Many players thought this new idea was smart, and a great design. They thought it was more realistic, and they liked that. Some players, though, did not like the new sniping ways because they are the ones who keep getting killed by the snipers who are looking through the blurred vision around the scope. One last huge thought you should think about before making your big decision to spend over forty-five dollars on this game, you should think about your style of play.

If you really like campaign, then this game would be OK for you. The campaign of this game starts out with a really good, high-tech looking intro. As you progress through the campaign, there are various new battles you fight in, but after a few sections on the campaign, you may want to go play another game mode. Yes, the campaign is a little tiny bit repetitive. If you like to play multiplayer a lot, then this game, like all of the Call of Duty's, you should at least give a try. All Call of Duty's introduce new weapons to fight with, new perks to use, and new score streaks to call in. From what a lot of players are saying, you have probably heard by now that there are multiple different weapons that are a little too overpowered, but I’m sure that with enough complaining, the developer's may do an update which evens those guns down to everything else for a fair battle. Finally, if you are more of the “special mode” in Call of Duty's kind of person, (which is usually zombies), then you might want to stick to a different game. I'm pretty sure you won't get the game ONLY to play Extinction mode, but if that were the case, I would just save your money if I were you. The Extinction mode in this game, as I said before, has a lot of downfalls.

There is really no point in the game mode in my opinion, and I found it quite boring actually. I felt as if I was doing basically the same exact thing over and over, and I never really enjoyed getting deep into a game of Extinction like I did with Zombies. I think that if the developer's put a little more effort into Extinction, and a little more of a point or goal, then it might have actually turned out to be a good game mode. Overall, this game was actually pretty good in MY opinion, but that is just me. Not everyone will like the same game in exactly the same way, so don't base your purchase solely off of my review, because you may not feel the same way after you play the game.
