DEVTOME.COM HOSTING COSTS HAVE BEGUN TO EXCEED 115$ MONTHLY. THE ADMINISTRATION IS NO LONGER ABLE TO HANDLE THE COST WITHOUT ASSISTANCE DUE TO THE RISING COST. THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING FOR ALMOST A YEAR, BUT WE HAVE BEEN HANDLING IT FROM OUR OWN POCKETS. HOWEVER, WITH LITERALLY NO DONATIONS FOR THE PAST 2+ YEARS IT HAS DEPLETED THE BUDGET IN SHORT ORDER WITH THE INCREASE IN ACTIVITY ON THE SITE IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. OUR CPU USAGE HAS BECOME TOO HIGH TO REMAIN ON A REASONABLE COSTING PLAN THAT WE COULD MAINTAIN. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT THE DEVTOME PROJECT AND KEEP THE SITE UP/ALIVE PLEASE DONATE (EVEN IF ITS A SATOSHI) TO OUR DEVCOIN 1M4PCuMXvpWX6LHPkBEf3LJ2z1boZv4EQa OR OUR BTC WALLET 16eqEcqfw4zHUh2znvMcmRzGVwCn7CJLxR TO ALLOW US TO AFFORD THE HOSTING.

THE DEVCOIN AND DEVTOME PROJECTS ARE BOTH VERY IMPORTANT TO THE COMMUNITY. PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO ITS FURTHER SUCCESS FOR ANOTHER 5 OR MORE YEARS!

American System Failure

The current financial situation that the world is faced with can be quite overwhelming if not properly understood. This financial situation that we are all facing is a worldwide phenomenon that is threatening the economies of the worldwide populous. In order to better understand the economic hardships that are now unfolding, we need to take a closer look at the Americans.

I find that this predicament in which the American finds himself is caused by more than one source. I like to divide the Americans into four parts. Those four parts are: government, rich, poor and middleclass.

The government is an out of control machine that seeks endless growth, and control over the lives of its citizens. The government is like a cancer in that it will expand until it kills its host, it knows no borders.

The poor are typically uneducated and unaware of what is going on in the world around them. They tend to accept the government as long as it provides them with social programs like healthcare, Medicare, foods stamps, and what have you.

The middle class usually blames the poor class for sucking up all of the resources and being unproductive members of society. While at the same time the middleclass will sometimes blame the rich for not paying their fair share of the taxes. The middleclass sometimes feels that the rich should pay much higher taxes. The government will happily enforce these taxes, but eventually the taxes always come back to haunt the middleclass.

Rich people are required to be intelligent in order to build and manage their wealth. They, for the most part, tend to be the smartest of the groups. The rich avoid taxes not because they are evil, but because the laws are there to be used. Since they are educated they find these opportunities and cease them for a profit.

The American structure is a giant game of Robin Hood. As we all know, Robin steals from the rich (the king) and gives to the poor. While the wealthy see Robin Hood as a crook, the poor see him as a hero. In this scenario Robin Hood is the government. Unfortunately, because the rich are educated they will find ways to prevent Robin Hood from taking what is theirs. Maybe they get stronger vaults or relocate their riches out of the jurisdiction of Robin Hood. This will usually result in the middle class being held responsible for paying the majority of the taxes.

This is the cycle that has been playing out for about the last century. Because the government has now made it so expensive for the rich to own and run a business, they have forced jobs out of the America. There are no jobs in America because it is cheaper to export them overseas. The rich are business minded creatures and they are in search of profits. In the process of creating profits the rich need to create jobs, and this is how jobs come into existence.

The average citizen may see this as greed and a failure of capitalism. But on the contrary, the problem is the lack of capitalism. The government has crippled capitalism and prevented the market from thriving. Job creators do not want to create jobs in America because it is risky and expensive. The government cannot seem to understand how jobs are created. As a result, it has continued to tax businesses to the point that there are practically no job creators left.

The government thinks that by encouraging its citizens to spend it will be able to create a booming economy. It believes that more spending leads to growth. As a result, the government develops programs that further encourage the citizens to spend uncontrollably on borrowed money. Although growth will seem to exist for a short time, it is a phony growth which will not be sustained. This phony growth will push the Americans further into debt and lower their quality of life.

The problem and importance with the American way of life is that the economies of the world are all backed by the dollar. As the Federal Reserve continues to print federal notes it devalues the dollar. The debasement of the dollar means it will purchase less today than it could yesterday. The American system is on the verge of collapse. There is a lot of evidence of the ensuing collapse and it is becoming more obvious. Germany has recently requested back their gold and no country wants to buy American debt. The Federal Reserve is the only entity buying American debt, because if it did not the dollar would collapse. The American notes were backed by gold until 1971 when Nixon decided to go off the gold standard. This meant that the Federal Reserve could now print as many federal notes as it wanted. Originally, all currencies were backed by gold through the dollar. When this link was broken the collapse of all the currencies in the world began to unfold. Never in the history of the world have all major world economies been fiat currencies. Also, never in history have we had a fiat currency such as the dollar last for longer than about 40 years. This version of the dollar which is not backed by gold has been around since 1971, approximately 42 years. This fiat currency is due for a collapse and it will take all economies down with it.

The demand for alternative currencies has never been greater. As it is the free markets job to full fill the demand of the people, it will give birth to alternative mediums of exchange and a new economy will be born.

America is not as great as she used to be. She is no longer the land of the free and the home of the brave. America is home to a people that are afraid to speak out against the atrocities of its government, and afraid to stand up against the war being waged against its freedoms.

America is becoming more socialist every day and it will be interesting to see where this story ends. Will it be another Germany? Or will the dormant American spirit finally awaken and rise up against these so called tyrants who threaten its liberties.
