DEVTOME.COM HOSTING COSTS HAVE BEGUN TO EXCEED 115$ MONTHLY. THE ADMINISTRATION IS NO LONGER ABLE TO HANDLE THE COST WITHOUT ASSISTANCE DUE TO THE RISING COST. THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING FOR ALMOST A YEAR, BUT WE HAVE BEEN HANDLING IT FROM OUR OWN POCKETS. HOWEVER, WITH LITERALLY NO DONATIONS FOR THE PAST 2+ YEARS IT HAS DEPLETED THE BUDGET IN SHORT ORDER WITH THE INCREASE IN ACTIVITY ON THE SITE IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. OUR CPU USAGE HAS BECOME TOO HIGH TO REMAIN ON A REASONABLE COSTING PLAN THAT WE COULD MAINTAIN. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT THE DEVTOME PROJECT AND KEEP THE SITE UP/ALIVE PLEASE DONATE (EVEN IF ITS A SATOSHI) TO OUR DEVCOIN 1M4PCuMXvpWX6LHPkBEf3LJ2z1boZv4EQa OR OUR BTC WALLET 16eqEcqfw4zHUh2znvMcmRzGVwCn7CJLxR TO ALLOW US TO AFFORD THE HOSTING.

THE DEVCOIN AND DEVTOME PROJECTS ARE BOTH VERY IMPORTANT TO THE COMMUNITY. PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO ITS FURTHER SUCCESS FOR ANOTHER 5 OR MORE YEARS!

Act Like a Success Think Like a Success Review

I was recently at the bookstore and came across this book “Act Like a Success, Think Like a Success”. The title caught my eye. The author of the book is Steve Harvey. Steve is a stand-up comedian, philanthropist, host of The Steve Harvey Morning Radio Show, The Steve Harvey television talk show and the game show Family Feud. From looking at the cover and briefly reading the introduction, it appeared that the book is about using a gift or talent that we each have to achieve success in life. I’ve followed Steve Harvey for many years and was intrigued to see what he has to say on the topic. I next looked at the table of contents. There were 4 sections in the book and the entire book only contained 240 pages. I could read this book in a very short time. I decided to buy the book. When I arrived home I sat down in my office and started to read this book. I did this for three consecutive evenings. At the end of the third evening I had finished reading the book in its entirety. I can truly say that this book was truly motivating.

It was obvious from the beginning of the book that Steve poured his heart into the writing of this book. Words from Steve's own father as well as Steve's own experiences kept me intrigued throughout this book. The way Steve breaks down the principles of success is amazing. He gives you a step by step process to making sure all your dreams and ambitions come through if you follow his proven system. What's incredible is how he gives you a glimpse of his life, the good, the bad, the ups and downs. He even talked about his failed marriages, dead-end jobs he’s had and the time in his life that he spent living homeless. His transparency about his success and failures really resonated with me. Often times when I read motivational books, this level of transparency isn’t there. I believe that this product can be life changing, if you are teachable and ready to eliminate excuses, and replace them with expectations, and implementation. I liked how he used scriptural references to help the reader discover their gift. He also emphasized how everyone has some sort of a gift and that success isn’t defined by the amount of money in your bank account. He encourages you to take action by writing down your reflections, aspirations and visions for your life in a journal. This is considered your action plan for success. One example that stood out to me that he gave in the book was his struggles early in his comedy career. Through perseverance he overcame the obstacles and was a huge success. He does however recommend starting out small when pursuing your dream. Some people make the mistake of jumping right out there full force and if things don’t work out end up in a really bad situation. Starting out small when pursuing your dream helps ease the loss some if things don’t work out as you hope. If there was one negative to the book, it is the promotion of the book’s official website. That webpage has some good information, but it mostly sells additional services. I work with a group of young people and I plan to purchase several copies of the book and give it to them. The advice given in this book I believe is priceless. I recommend the book “Act Like a Success, Think Like a Success” to anyone looking to achieve not only their life’s goals, but also to those looking to make a long-term positive impact on society.
